Do I need a telephine line?
No telephone line is required. The connection is provided by a wireless radio link to our network.
Can I use my telephone at the same time as the Internet?
Yes, our system is totally independent of your telephone line.

I do not have a network port in my computer, can I still get WTS Broadband?
Yes, we can provide and install a network card for you.

Do I need a clear line of sight to a WTS access point?
No, though the better the line of sight is to the access point, the stronger the signal; we can often receive sufficient signal for the connection to work, even if you cannot see the access point.
I run Linux, can I still get WTS Broadband?
Yes, we can install on Linux, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP Windows Vista and Windows Server operating systems.
I have an Apple Mac, can I get WTS Broadband?
Yes, WTS Broadband works fine with your Apple computer. However we may require you to assist with your setup as not all our engineers are familiar with Apple computers.
Can I use Skype with WTS Broadband?
Yes, Skype, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger and all messaging software will work great on WTS Broadband.
Can I make VOIP calls?
Yes, all you need is a VOIP provider and either a VOIP phone or headset and microphone.
What is VOIP?
Voice over Internet Protocol, also called VoIP, IP Telephony, Internet telephony, Broadband telephony, Broadband Phone and Voice over Broadband is the routing of voice conversations over the Internet or through any other IP-based network. VOIP calls are cheaper than standard calls and often free.
Email settings
If you do not have your own domain name and use an email address yourname@eircom.net for example, you will need to use the following email settings for your outgong server (SMTP): mail.wtsbb.net

If you have your own domain name our email will work fine with your existing settings. You do not need to change to our outgoing server (SMTP).

If you wiew your email in your web browser then no changes need to be made.
